wood spoons

I have been making wooden spoons for a while now. I make them mostly out of Osage, Walnut, Cherry, and Cedar. Here they are.

A large Osage spoon and two spatulas.

slotted spoon.

This spoon I made out of purpleheart wood, a very tough wood.

Here is a walnut bowl and two cherry spoons.

I do the designs with a wood burner. I have sold many of these spoons, I sell the large for 20 dollars, the medium for 15 and, and the small one for 10. Each one differs from the next.

  1. Wow, those really are some great looking spoons! Very nice work.
I've often wished I had some skill in carving, but no matter what my plan, I only carve toothpicks.

  2. Thanks for the comment, I have really enjoyed making them. I was not shure I could carve them at first. But after a few tries I started to get the hang of it. Hope you enjoyed looking.
